C&D Debris Management

Debris management begins with knowing what will be removed. A mixed load, a separate concrete load and material requiring specialist handling need different plans.

Set the scope before loading

  • Identify the source: structural demolition, interior removal, roofing, concrete work or site cleanup.
  • Estimate quantity and density separately. Container volume is not a safe hauling-weight limit.
  • Disclose suspect asbestos, chemicals, liquids, batteries and other special materials before work.
  • Define who provides containers, loading, haul-off, protection, cleanup and receiving-facility confirmation.

Match each load to an accepted destination

Confirm the receiving facility accepts the actual material and the hauler’s unloading arrangement. Mixed C&D is not automatically eligible for every facility or recovery outlet. Arkansas facility classifications and permit limits matter; confirm the facility’s current acceptance directly.

Keep prohibited or suspect material out of ordinary loads. Inspection, testing, abatement or other specialist handling may have to occur before demolition and hauling can proceed.

Close out the material work

  • Keep the agreed delivery, pickup and disposal tickets.
  • Record each load’s material, destination, date and measured quantity where available.
  • Reconcile rejected loads or changed destinations.
  • Confirm the agreed final condition, including remaining containers, debris, foundation voids and stabilization.

Plan the next step

Request roll-off container pricing or review hauling and material movement. For removal work, review demolition, selective demolition and civil and sitework.
